About Us

The camp was built in the late 1970s by Graeme Smit, hosting its first camp in 1981 – meaning we’ve been running our camps for the WA community for over 40 years! The camp is situated on 13 hectares (33 acres) of land. immersed in bushland.

We have 130 beds across our five pioneer accommodation huts and The Lodge, and our U-Hut contains a kitchen and Dining and Activities Hall. Our accommodations also have a toilet and shower block. We also have a pool, basketball court, BBQ area, and plenty of grassy activity areas located throughout the campsite.

Lastly, for our daring adventurers we have The Climb Zone. Containing both low and high ropes courses, a climbing wall, and a flying fox, The Climb Zone will thrill, and excite.

Cahoots Adventure Camp has been part of Cahoots since 2022.  Cahoots is a for-purpose organisation that has served WA families since 1982 creating inclusive and supported camps and programs for young people living with neurological or developmental disorders, or an intellectual disability to build friendships and independence so they can live their best lives.
