Frequently Asked Questions
How heavy will my pack be?
Your pack will weigh approximately 10-18 kilos.
How fit do I need to be?
A good level of fitness is always an advantage for any expedition. The longer the expedition, the more fit we recommend you be. You should be able to comfortably walk with 10-18kg in your pack for each day you’ll be walking.
Do I need prior experience?
Nope! Our guides will work with you and your abilities, so that whether you’re a novice or an expert, you will be challenged and able to grow based on your skill sets.
What do I need to bring?
Check out the kit list for your expedition. Group gear like tents and cooking equipment/utensils, is provided. We also hire equipment such as packs, sleeping mats and sleeping bags. Hot tip: we recommend buying high-quality hiking boots if you don’t already have a pair.
What if I have special dietary requirements?
We’ll work with you to adapt camp menus and cooking to suit your needs. We’ll always endeavor to accommodate different needs, however, in cases of severe allergies we may request that you supply your own food in the interest of your safety.
